Cantina Ensenada in Passau

Food was very good, cocktails too :-) The service was quick and friendly

We went to Cantina Ensenada on a Friday night. The first time I visited, I was absolutely thrilled by the kitchen that I was there again. The service was very, very attentive, courteous and impeccably good. Seldom been served so well! 5 stars for the good service alone! Many Thanks! The food came quickly and the selection of drinks is gigantic 😁

The enchiladas there are a real horror - they were never prepared with fresh ingredients and the filling was an indefinable grayish mass.

Great mexican restaurant. Also suitable for vegetarians. Tacos were delicious and so were the cocktails. We'd love to come back! The waitresses are very nice, young people. :)

Parking not ideal! Otherwise absolutely perfect restaurant ... Top food, top ambience and very friendly wait staff! Expectations were met and exceeded 👍

I have to honestly say whether we actually made a reservation for 8 p.m. and got a table at 6 p.m. and we were served immediately and our meal came straight away and it was also very, very good, I have to say that the 4 stars are fair

The corona rules are not observed, at least in the beer garden. The tables are close together, making it impossible to keep a distance of even 1 meter from other guests. Health is in second place here.

We reserved for 10 people and had to wait 2 hours for the food. Guests who came after us got the food before us. The waitresses came every 5 minutes to ask if we wanted something to drink even though the glasses were still full. Probably the trick of making us wait a long time for food so we can drink more. When asked to wait an hour to see if the food might come, I got an absolutely spectacular answer. Although the guests came after us, it is assumed that they leave earlier and therefore they get the food before us. After 2 hours my nachos with cheese came cold, cheese like rubber. The rest of the food was partially burnt. Our place was right behind the guests who were sitting at the bar and the poor always had to squeeze past us to go to the toilet, because we really sat back to back. We reserved a week earlier. We got a bottle as a big bitter lemon that looked more like a perfume sample than a drink. The staff was not qualified and rude. A complete handle in the toilet. Never again. One star is one star too many.

We had reserved a table due to COVID-19, at the moment it seems otherwise very difficult to get a table. The staff is very nice and accommodating, the dishes were all fresh and superbly prepared. Despite the starter, the time between the individual meals was neither too short nor too long. Our 4 year old son was also served very nicely. Keep it up!!

I have been to many Mexicans but here you can get the best food and a beautiful courtyard by far!

I booked a table to celebrate my birthday from 6pm to 10pm. But what I experienced on 07.03. it will certainly not remain in my fond memory. 1. Why can anyone who has never been there know where the restaurant is, except by address? The entrance is from the haustor through the door as we usually find in a warehouse or storage room. 2. Besides the bull's head, what do you know about being in a Mexican restaurant? No Mexican features, waitresses dressed in normal uniforms, no Mexican music, nowhere sombrero, the trademark of Mexico. 3. The map of the dishes is in Spanish and German and the names of the dishes indicate that they are Mexican food. 4. It took more than 60 minutes from ordering the food to getting it, and we only got it after the waitress read the letter. Her explanation was original. That is, regardless of the fact that we ordered the food at 6.30pm as we booked the table until 10pm before those who booked up to 8pm are served. (I watched if they might be filming a hidden camera series because the reaction to that explanation cannot be normal) 5. Food arrives. Instead of spices in special bowls, spices in a plate look as if the cat has taken off. We got our food in the pans. It's probably a Mexican custom to eat out of a pan. You only get a special plate with a special note. 6. The food was obviously made quickly because it felt burnt. 7. Drinks. I order coca cola zero and get fritz cola. Any resemblance to coca cola is coincidental. I order schwepes and I get something that has nothing to do with the order in a 0.2 liter bottle. I ask if this bottle comes with a baby pacifier but I don't get an answer! 8. After all, neither excuse nor any regret for the service that does not deserve a single star. Truly a birthday celebration to remember. But every school is expensive. We paid for our education. And now we know. NEVER here anymore!

The food was good - but we have waited almost two hours for the food. Excuse there was none. The next table who had complained vociferously got at least one free drink. To a star, there is really only because of the nice atmosphere and delicious cocktails.

The food is good Mexican. But 2 hours on his lukewarm main course waits, with the excuse one had indeed a starter. Then there is only one ⭐

Because I'm just passing through. I have not reserved. Have I still got a good cozy place That's what I call good Mexican food. Good food and good cocktails. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice personel. Recommend it to anyone who visits Passau to go there.

Very friendly service, tasty fajitas and good cocktails, especially during happy hours. I also liked the cellar like atmosphere.

Here you can eat delicious mexican food 👍🏼 I had a pan with super delicious vegetables and beef stew. The service was very nice and accommodating. I also liked the atmosphere, it makes you feel like you're back in an old western movie.

Food was quite good, but very adapted to the European palate. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food. In addition, the service was nice, but rather inattentive and overstrained.

Fajitas are perfect choice.

Very sad quality of food. Meat was with no taste and texture. I don'd care if i need to wait 1,5 hours for my food If i get what i pay for. They changed their chef for sure. Beer was good..

Ordered fries which were old and re-fried. And also the seafood menu and vegetarian menu is awful ......
